Description
The stand that comes with the base Wingspan board game is fairly unhelpful. This perfectly solves that problem.
I used Prusament Galaxy Black PLA, and I think it looks very sharp.
The pattern on the bottom helps keep the part straight. If done right on a smooth PEI sheet, there should be no warping of the part. I made this part on my MK3S+, with the Z offset calibration set very precisely.
I had to be careful to make sure the first layer stuck well, this is the only challenge. I used some 1200 grit sandpaper to buff the surface of my smooth PEI sheet a bit to get the bottom pattern fine lines to stick. A lower grit would work, but I personally wouldn't recommend going lower than 400 grit for the sake of your smooth sheet. Now that I have a satin sheet, I bet it would stick better to that. However, the smooth bottom surface does assist the parts functionality on smooth table surfaces…
