Description
Digital clocks and numerical displays have employed various types of mechanical systems. One such system uses two servo motors to move sliders back and forth to form a single digit. A notable example of this is the Time Slider created by Hans Anderson.
My initial concept was to design and print a pocket-sized model of this system as a manual widget—something you could manipulate with your hands. I then created tiles as visual guidelines to help users better visualize the digital numb

Assembly and Usage
The Hidden Number Widget consists of four pieces: the cover, the base, and two sliders (1x15 and 2x15 rows).
On the MK4S PRUSA printer, no adjustments are needed. If the sliders do not move easily, you may need to sand them a bit. When holding the widget vertically, the sliders should remain secure and not fall out.
I used PRUSAMENT Jet Black PLA and generic white PLA for color change. If you do not want to do a color change during printing, I suggest you print the base a different color.
Infill 15%, 0,2 mm layer. No support needed. You may have to reduce speed up to 25% depending of printer used. My Hidden Number Widget was done at full speed on PRUSA MK4S 3D printer.
