Description
Here is a pretty nice '72 Chevy to add to your collection. Printing it is approximately the same procedure as my other Hot wheels models, I printed with a 0.2mm nozzle, but that's because I suck at sanding out the layer lines lol. Use supports only on the truck body, the chassis and the wheels do not need them. I use PLA for these trucks, black for the chassis and wheels, white for the body, because black is hard to paint over. The white doesn't take as many coats of paint. The silver details, including the rims, were done with silver sharpie. I use a straightened paperclip for the axles, superglue to hold them in the wheels. You may notice there is two chassis models, one is “with words”. That one simply has the make and model of the truck embossed on the bottom of the undercarriage, similar to the way Maisto does it.
Thanks for checking this out, please post your makes and remixes! It means a lot to me.
