Description
OCTOCON is a mind-bending 3D geometric puzzle game! Can you align all of the colors?! Print one out and find out!
Choose the Easy Version or the Hard Version Easy: This version is designed in a way that is easier to solve the puzzle and align all of the colors. Hard: A harder version. I recommend printing the hard version because it is more fun to play with!
Step 1. Press fit the axle into the center of the right piece of the puzzle
Step 2. Press fit the bearing into the center of the left piece of the puzzle.
Step 3. Press fit the magnets into the right and left sides of the puzzle. Note: Ensure you install magnets so the right and left sides of the puzzle stick together. Assembling backward will cause the sides to repel each other.
Note: Depending on your printer tolerance you may need to use a dab of super glue to secure the magnets in place. If you need to glue the bearing in place as well (only do this if it is too loose), be sure to only allow glue to get on the outer wall of the bearing.

I was inspired to take a deep dive into sphericons and creating games with these interesting geometries by Devin Montes from Make Anything. Devin explored sphericons in a Youtube video and has made some awesome hexasphericon based puzzles. I wanted to challenge myself to make a puzzle with a octosphericon using parts from Bambu Lab's Makers Essentials Kit and this is what I came up with!
