Description

Duel your friends or loved ones into submission with these complimentary complimenting cards for Valentines day.

A full set of red heart playing cards from Ace to King - each one embossed tastefully with a unique playing card related pun.

Turn your magic tricks into real magic when your heel falls head over heels from one of thirteen love-inducing pick up lines.

Print using your textured PEI plates to give your cards patterned backing plates. Pictured above, the backing plate has been printed in Archimedean Chords on smooth PEI to create a nice concentric pattern, but there are many ways to create effective plate patterns by messing with your Bottom Surface setting.

The cards themselves are 0.8mm thick (4 layers high at 0.2mm) and take only 5g of filament each. They are printed 3 layers in one accent colour for backing plate, border and writing colours, then the final layer in the second colour.

Pictured are cards printed in SUNLU Cherry Red PLA+ and SUNLU White PLA+. Please note that all filament is opaque to a certain degree so you may see colour bleed through the layers, try using contrasting / matte colours for a better effect.

The Fusion file is available for anyone wishing to alter the cards to their liking.

Settings:

  • 0.2mm layer height
  • 5 walls - (walls only effect the drawing of the borders around each card/ text / graphic)
  • Bottom surface: Archimedean Chords (or regular monotonic + a textured plate of your choice)
  • 100% infill.
  • Pause at beginning of final layer to perform a filament hot swap.

Ensure your extrusion, top surface and retraction settings are tuned very well for a perfect surface finish - search Tuning Material Flow or Small Area Flow on Youtube for appropriate instructions to master it.
