Sky Mech MK 2

UPDATE 2/6/25: Thanks to user Retonductor, a flaw in my mech's hip design was brought to my attention. I believe to have fixed it.

This is an update to my 2nd ever full model kit. I have learned a lot in the past 4 years of 3d modelling and printing, so I have been updating some of my older designs to meet my modern standards.

The Sky Mech MK 2was designed with a focus on simplicity, durability, and ease of printing.

Joints are achieved through a system of 3mm pins that give just enough friction while also easily removed with pliers (for maximum strength, print these so that the long side of the pin is parallel to the build plate).

3 millimeter ports on the arms and back allow for cross compatibility with most other model kit accessories.

Depending on your printer and plastic, some light sanding and/or tightening of parts may be required. Tightening may be done via thin layers of super glue or multi-surface floor polish.
