Description
Introduction
This is a redesigned version of my Sillyshell Muzzle Cup. This redesign was made with the intention of addressing some issues: first of all the addition of a ejection lever, that many people missed in the first version, second is addressing the cracking that can happen between the “shell carriage” and the breechface portion of the cup.
Hardware
2x 016 O-Rings (1x if using the TPU gasket)
Unlike the first version this one requires some other hardware besides the o-rings:
2x M4x30mm cylinder head hex bolts
2x M4 nuts
Optional, needed only if you choose to use the ejector version:
1x M3x20mm cylinder head hex bolt
1x spring, at least 15mm long and maximum 6mm of diameter
Print Settings
All pieces should be printed with 5 perimeters and 15% infill.
Both PTsealers should be printed with the front flat face on the build plate, the carriages instead have different orientations from one another:
the basic one should be printed with the front face on the buildplate, so that you don't need supports, the ejector variant instead needs to be printed with the back face on the bed and supports from the buildplate enabled.
If using the TPU gasket you obviously need to print it in TPU and still with 5 perimeters, so that it becomes solid, variants with increased thickness are also included, if for some reason the default one doesn't seal properly.
Final Notes
I haven't included the ejector lever models in order to not clutter the file page, those can be found here
