Aeon Trespass: Odyssey - Endless Staircase

Cyle 4 has a mechanic called Endless Staircase which is used in many of the Primordial fights, and is represented by a few cardboard tiles. That's not epic enough for this game!! Hence, I designed this BEAST on commission…. a customer who wanted something REALLY epic:

As this 90 hour, 3kg print is not very realistic/practical for everyone, I also designed a smaller, modular Endless Staircase model. This will accept 1 miniature per step, with 2 on the landings. 

Please find 3 alternatives:

• One with 10mm height between steps - 185mm total height, this is quite epic. About 700 grams of filament.
• One with 5mm height between steps - 95mm total height. Easier to store, faster to print. About 450 grams of filament.
• The previous 2 are ‘modular’. First battle, you only use the 1st tier of the staircase. Hence, the part is divided into 4 parts, so you use as many as you need on a specific battle. This option is a single part fused together. 

This was printed on a Prusa XL but will also fit on a MK printer. I printed with 0.6 nozzle, will also print fine in a 0.4 nozzle.

Find 3mf print files for my XL. Use this for your printer, it will save you time setting up the color for each object on the model.

Pending to do at some moment…: 

• Add landing barriers as seen here.
• Add a model with the steps as separate printable objects, to help make it quicker for people to print.
• Add a way to snap the parts together - either magnets or some kind of tab you insert to hold modules together.
