Fokker Dr.1 Triplane Kit Card

The Fokker Dr.I was a German triplane fighter aircraft used during World War I. Designed by Anthony Fokker and introduced in 1917, it became famous as the aircraft flown by the legendary fighter ace Manfred von Richthofen, also known as the "Red Baron." The Dr.I was highly maneuverable and had excellent climb performance, thanks to its lightweight construction and powerful rotary engine. However, it suffered from structural weaknesses that led to several fatal crashes. Despite its short service life, the Fokker Dr.I remains one of the most iconic aircraft of the First World War.

Printing Info

There are two versions you can print, one with and one without a sprue. You can also print all parts seperatly. Happy printing!

Building Info

For building, I suggest putting the left and right struts into the bottom and top wing first. Make shure they're angled right as seen in picture 4. Then attach the middle wing to the fuselage and the middle struts. Then add the top and bottom wing while inserting the struts. When all together, you can gently squish it in (like a sandwich). The rest should be self-explainatory.
