Ugly Mech

I actually made this model a while back, I guess I forgot to put it here. Oops! Anyways, I was attempting to make something less “traditional” with this mech design. I think I could have gone further with it, but perhaps next time.

The Ugly Mech was designed with a focus on simplicity, durability, and ease of printing.

Joints are achieved through a system of 3mm pins that give just enough friction while also easily removed with pliers (for maximum strength, print these so that the long side of the pin is parallel to the build plate).

3 millimeter ports on the arms, legs, and back allow for cross compatibility with most other model kit accessories.

Depending on your printer and plastic, some light sanding and/or tightening of parts may be required. Tightening may be done via thin layers of super glue or multi-surface floor polish.
