Description
This spinner was a personal challenge to come up with something that looked different from my other spinners. I also wanted to design something that printed quickly. On my Anycubic Kobra Pro 2, the spinner and caps only took 31 minutes to print at a .16mm layer height and with a 100% infill.
I have some friends who are counselors and often have younger clients who tend to open up more when they have something to “fidget” with. So, I print out a lot of spinners for them and wanted to have some original designs that only use a single 608 bearing and fit those with smaller hands.
I got great spin-time from a cheap 608 bearing off of Amazon. I'm sure there are a lot better bearings that could increase spin time, but the cheap ones worked just fine for me. The bearing caps are a remix that I came up with.
Note: The bearing is a tight fit. I use two pieces of wood to sandwich the spinner and bearing then press down until the bearing seats fully. It's not too difficult but does take a little effort.
