Description

I've been looking for a sleeved solution for the complete Tiny Epic Vikings collection…  I've stumble on Tori743's solution on Thingiverse and thought it was worth a look.

What this person did was blend/merge of the components into the base box, leaving the maps and paperwork into the expansion box.

While the solution appears to work (based on the original pictures posted), I like to keep my expansions in it's own box ~ separated from the base…

I began with filling the bottom of the box, I put the Shamans tokens around the map (some on their sides, other on their back) to fill the side void. I then printed the original files except the for the (top) small card.

I immediately noticed this configuration will incur a lid-lift (should have seen it coming as the original solution has the map in the expansion box). I decided to accept this reality as I really prefer keeping stuff in their intended boxes. So I simply followed the stacking example for the 4 player bins and larger cards… So far so good.

Next step was ensuring the top bin (for the smaller cards) would be properly aligned for my lid-lift as this solution has less cards than the original (as the expansions has a few of their own). So I had to resize it to fit my needs but also noticed that I can do with just one bin for my small card (this will vary as not all sleeves are the same size and thickness). So this remix bin now has one space for the small cards and I opened-up the 2nd area to accommodate any remaining tokens while keeping an eye for the edges and height; again, to align for my lid-lift.

As for the Ragnarok expansion, once I sleeved my cards, there isn't much space left so I decided against a formal insert. Instead, I keep the player tokens (in the original Ziplock bag) against the stack of cards. As for the other tokens, well, I caved and they now sit in the top bin of the base game…

So, there you have it. If you want an “all-in” pledge solution for sleeved cards and don't mind which box contains what, by all means use the original solution “as is”.

If like me you prefer some the segregation but can live with the lid-lift and the one token type in the ‘wrong’ box (which you'll need to open anyway if/when you want to play the expansion), then I hope this remix file will help.

Disclaimer: the remix file was sized for my box and sleeves. I would strongly advise you take measurements before printing the remix file and your box and/or sleeves may alter your optimal dimensions. However, I made it a tad loose so as long as you don't need to shrink the width and/or depth, you should be okay.

Hope this helps…
