Tectonic - 3D Printed Adventure Boardgame

Welcome to Tectonic! The adventure game pitting players (or teams) against each other on a constantly shifting island. Tectonic is a 3d printed, modular hex-tile board game that can be as large or as small as you want. Each piece can be moved and rearranged so that no two games will ever be the same.

OBJECTIVE: The goal is to avoid the hazards, collect one of each token, and unlock the portal home and escape. If playing teams, the team needs to collect one of each token to escape and all members of the team must be at the exit.

Due to revisions I've made in the last couple weeks, we (my family) have been play-testing and using the start space as the exit space as well.  I'm currently test printing the exit board.  The files are included below, but it may change.

The files included here should build the start board, the Mountain Spiral, Raptor Run, Nicer Raptors, Volcano, the Bridges tile, and the exit board (aka Earthquake). I still need to test the exit board and have ideas for several other tiles to add. PDFs for the rules and cards are included. You will have to orient files and add support as necessary.

The font shown on all the cards and rules is the HeroQuest font. Used without permission and may change.

Please do not distribute this or try to sell it. Be warned, small parts are a choking hazard for small children. Some objects can be projectiles when hazards are triggered.

Updated - 06/11/2025 - updated the Earthquake tile and parts, updated the rules and included an assembly guide in images and pdf.

• This is basically complete. I may update the rules a bit. If I do the date will be appended to the name of the PDF. If I create new tiles, they will be uploaded separately as remixes/expansions.

Updated - 07/01/2025 - Added a pdf covering Hazards for each tile currently made. Red squares show the unsafe portion on each tile. Added example images for the two expansion boards posted as remixes of this.

 Updated - 05/23/2026 - I got a little ahead of myself.  The caves required a redesign and reprint, so I had to update all the pdfs.
