Sometimes, you just need to take a moment to think in peace, and this is where Mr. Idea can help you - flexible legs and a hat - he's got everything you need - just give him a try.

Features

• Articulated model with flexible legs
• Print in place (no assembly needed)

Size

• ~73 x 148 x 105 mm
• Can be scaled down to 50% and will still print

Recommended settings

• PLA / PLA+ / PETG or anything (not important)
• 0.2 mm layers or less
• No supports

Printed (in figures)

• PLA Matte / PLA+ / HS-PLA (bottom-to-top)
• 0.2 mm (including the bottom layer)
• 3x magnets (as discussed below)

How to print

• For multicolour print, the recommended positions for colour change are:
  • After 35 mm (for the legs/holder to glass transition)
  • After 80 mm (for the glass-to-hat transition)
• For prints with magnets:
  • Slice for the appropriate magnets (if not using the ready model with holes pre-cut)
  • Stop the print before the holes are covered, put magnets and resume

Models available

• Standard model (mr-great-idea) which is ready to be printed
• Standard model with magnets (mr-great-idea-mag) with:
  • 2x 8x5.6 mm magnets (one in each foot) - the holes are 8.3x5.9 mm
  • 1x 15x4 mm magnet (in the butt) - the hole is 15.3x4.2 mm

Additional print files

Print files for the Anycubic Kobra 2 Pro (and similar) are available as 3mf files (with custom gcode for pausing for manual colour change and magnets placement)
