Display Stand for Transformers Legacy Tidal Wave

As one of the most long awaited Titans to join the collection in a while, Tidal Wave sure is an iconic figure which needs a fitting display stand for its alt mode!

Though this kit started off with a single stand to hold up Tidal Wave's combined alt mode, we soon thought it would be fun to also somehow have the kit be able to separate into 3 different stands - one for each of the ships in his Dark fleet mode! More on this in a bit.

So, in Tidal Wave's combined alt mode, this stand is used simply to hoist him up, giving him a floating appearance.

To keep things nice and snug, there are grooves on the inside edges of the stand where the protruding pegs fit in. This helps keep the stand from slipping off from under what is a pretty heavy mode.



=== Transforming into 3 stands ===

Here's how we transform the display stand into 3 separate ones for Dark Fleet mode. 

Stand03 actually houses Stand02 inside, before pegging onto the back of Stand01.

The base for all 3 stands are actually stacked up in the combined stand mode, easily separating out and giving each of the 3 stands a stable base to peg into. Stand02 attaaches into the smaller hole on the base piece.

For Stand03, the arms also rotate upward to for a horizontal resting area.

With these stands assembled, the first ship in the dark fleet would fit on Stand01 in a similar way as the combined mode.

Stand02's top portion come with a quadtet of pegs, which peg into the ports on the ship's underside to hold it up.
  
Finally, for Stand03, just last ship can be rested upon the horizontally opened up arms.

And all together now - the Dark Fleet in action!
