Minicon Sparkplug for Transformers Legacy Armada Optimus Prime

After a whole bunch of testing and tweaking, here's minicon buddy Sparkplug for Armada Optimus Prime! This has got to be one of our most challenging projects till date, and might also be pretty complex to assemble (more on that later)! :)

Started the design from his alt mode, and here's what Sparkplug looks like when transformed into a yellow Lamborghini.

To transform him into this bot mode, his arms first need to be pulled apart, flip his entire torso over, rotate his feet to face forward, and finally flip his chest bit back down with Sparkplug's head rotated up in the proper place.

But the real fun comes in posing him with Legacy Armada Prime of course!

With his minicon partner found, Prime can be powered up!

And to help re-create Sparkplug's ability to connect onto other bots, we've included a short 5mm peg. This fits into any 5mm port, so that Sparkplug can attach on firmly!

The included diagram shows all the parts for this build, and how they go together.

To help secure some of the joints and ensure that the parts don't simply fall off, there will be a need to use a small heated tool to slightly melt and mushroom the pegs.

For example, all the wheels will need to be affixed onto their axles in this way.

Also, for the shoulders, a short bit of 1.75mm filament needs to be glued into the provided holes in the "Roof" piece, insert the "Arm" piece and heat to form the mushroom peg to hold everything in place.
