HAPPY PIRATE RING

It's all a bit self explanatory really.  Our Mr Four doesn't like that it's not a “proper” ring.  His grandfather (me) likes the fact that it's not going to give him a serious injury if he catches it on something he's jumping off.

The open style also gives a lot of flexibility in sizing than a true ring.

SIZING - The model attached is sized at 15mm diameter, which in my view is the smallest practical for this style.   It is simply enlarged in the slicer though (the larger ring pictured is 17mm).

To make the correct size for you, when you know the diameter ring you wish to make, ADD 4mm to it and make the "X" dimension in the slicer.   ie, if you want a 17mm diameter ring, change the number for the X dimension to 21.  DO NOT unlock the scale and everything will scale automatically.   Colour change setting can remain or if you wish to start again in your own slicer = change colour after layer three (refer photos above).

Happy Pirates were in invented many years ago when, after building a rip-snorter of a pirate ship in the way that only grandfather's can, the mother of our Mr Four let it be known that perhaps black and death and skulls were not appropriate in her back yard.   Hasty lowering of flags was quickly followed by a raising of standards.
