Description

This is a wall mount for the Technical Ferrari F1 car based on the same design concepts I used in my Mercedes F1 mount: https://www.printables.com/model/935748-lego-technic-42171-mercedes-amg-f1-w14-e-wall-moun

The aim for this model to to produce a mount that is both strong and able to be printed without any supports.

LEGO have continued the trend of making this a challenging beast to mount.

Printing Instructions

2 walls with 25% infill. Hard to go wrong on this one.

Once printed, press the two halves together - they should hold themselves in place but it doesn't matter much if they don't - the screws you use will do the job otherwise.

Mounting Instructions

Measure 235mm down from where you want the nose of the car to be. That is where the very top edge of the mount needs to be. Mark your holes. You know the rest!

  • Place the very middle of the car over the mount.
  • Press the suspension down a bit.
  • Roll the car down until it stops - it should “hold” the suspension slightly depressed.

See photos to double check where the mount is designed to catch the car.
