*** Current version: 1.4 *** (working on perfecting the hinges) *** last updated 28/08/2025
As a beginner 3D designer, I've had a blast exploring the community and creating my own take on Beyblade X storage. Inspired by Rainyfroyo's work, I've designed a modular, stackable display and carrying case.
I call it >> Trigon_Bit_Lock_V1.4 << click the name for video.
video 1, video 2.
This unique system consists of two distinct triangular stands—one for the blade and another for the ratchet and bit. The genius of the design is that the Beyblade X bit itself acts as a locking mechanism, pushing through the bottom of one stand to secure it to the top of the next to create a stacked display.
When you connect three sets in a side-by-side instead of stacked, these displays together form a hexagon-shaped case that holds three complete Beyblade X Beyblades. It can be open for display or closed for storage and travel. The prototype was held together with tape, but I'm excited to share in V1.4 a working version with hinges. I'm still working on improving the hinges and implementing decorative elements for the final version. Any updates and upgrades will be uploaded as soon as they've been tested.
One of the main upgrades in version 1.3 was to make the design look sleeker.
Slightly more space is provided, so the blade and ratchet are no longer touching the back wall.
Created an opening on the back so the support is easier to remove.
Moved the Bit slot to reduce strain on the triangle's point design.
Upcoming and current version info:
One of the main upgrades in version 1.4 was to make the design so that it can be linked together with hinges.
This design is not perfect yet, but it's good enough to share with you and give you the chance to provide me with feedback.
I made sure the handle v1.3 fits v1.4.
Recommendation:
Set the wall thickness to 4 or 5 for a sturdier, more durable print.
Use a tree support to reduce the chance of snapping off the blade and ratchet slot
All tests and measurements up to v1.3 are based on PETG basic Filament.
All tests and measurements from v1.3.3 are based on HS PLA Filament.
