Description
Most LEGO designs in Printables are designed to be either very large or very small (enough to choke a child) so, since enlarging a design does not necessarily make the tolerances correct, I created this 25mm base design which I think is a good size that's fun to use but safe.
LEGO bricks are based on a modular unit d ≈ 1.6 mm from which all dimensions are derived. The stud diameter is 4.8 mm (3d), A brick unid is 8.0 mm wide (5d) and 9.6 mm tall without the stud (6d).
For my custom design, I calculated d = 2.5 mm, making a 2x2 brick 25 mm wide while keeping all proportions identical to the LEGO standard.
