Description

What's new about this infinity cube: Many different sizes, but all with the same hinges. No more scaling the entire print and the resulting unstable hinges. Now the hinges are always the same size and equally stable for all cube sizes.

The individual cubes have a side length of 12 mm to 22 mm in one mm steps. This allows you to print the Fidget Cube in a size that fits your hands. Without compromising on stability. You can print the hinges in advance without having to worry about the size.
As always, the individual cubes can be easily printed in different colors and even different materials without a multi-color system. Wood filament is an interesting option here, for example.

There is a solid version (11 diff. sizes) and one with indentations on the surfaces (13 diff. sizes).

Feel free to take a look at my collection of fidget toys that I have designed.

Printing

You need to print the cube STL four times and the hinge STL once. It is recommended to print the hinges from PETG or, even better, PETG-CF. However, ASA is also a good choice. PLA will work if necessary, but it is more brittle and deforms more easily. If the printer can print dimensionally accurately and you like a toy that moves easily, the normal size for the hinges is recommended. If the normal hinges are too wobbly for you, it is best to use the hinges with “strong” in their name. There is one spare hinge in each file.
