7-Eleven Model Set - 1:64 Scale Diorama

7-Eleven is a popular convenience store chain that has been around for decades serving up snacks, coffee, Slurpee's, and Big Gulps. There are stores all over the globe, each with their own unique offerings. Most of the US locations stock similar food and drink items, but head over to Japan and the shelves will look a bit different with a variety of hot and cold food and local snacks. 

In recent years, 7-Eleven and car culture have merged after 7-Eleven's social media team started posting photos of cars in front of different 7-Eleven stores. The trend grew and continues to grow where there are now car meetups, events, and photo ops at stores to celebrate the car culture and community.

For the model set, I kept it simple while adding some small details to make it standout. The main building body has a brick pattern all around which looks great especially with the brown filament I used. Smaller features like the ice freezer and the posters really bring the model to life. And then adding some 7-Eleven themed cars ties the whole scene together. 

• The model set is compatible with the A1 Mini print bed size

• Only 11 pieces to print

• This is the first diorama model set that I designed where all of the parts can be printed without the need for supports. This makes the printing process easy and allows for a smooth assembly

• AMS is needed for the roof and logo sign and door/window

• I used super glue to assemble the door/window to the main body

• The posters are printed on a regular inkjet/laser printer and glued to the windows and building with a glue stick

• The “ICE” logo for the ice freezer is also printed and glued on. I used scissors to cut them out, and if you look close, you can see the edges of the paper on the model which doesn't look as clean. If you have a cutting machine that might help or if you can find small letter stickers that might look better.

• Models sliced in Bambu Studio and printed on Bambu Lab printers
