Update: New size! Even higher model (20mm) to create epic scenery for your battle!

“No more sliding tiles - just epic battles.”

I designed these pieces after being frustrated with other 3D terrain models constantly sliding across the board and shifting the tiles on top. My goal was to create something that not only looks good but also makes the game clearer and more stable to play. Yes, it was possible to just glue a piece of rubber to a simple 3D printed hexagonal piece. But that would not be a challange :)

Main Features

Three height levels → lower pieces for rocks and trenches, higher ones for mountains and glaciers. And new even higher variant of terrain for epic looking battles!

Fully compatible with Star Wars: Battle of Hoth and Memoir ’44.

Stable fit → the underside is designed to hold 6 (3 from each side) silicone door bumpers in Ø 6, 7 or 8 mm size, preventing terrain from sliding on the board.

Silicone bumpers are widely available online (no affilate link to Amazon and Aliexpress). It can look slightly unstable in board preparing, but its perfectly stable in real play.

You can also make own bumpers
from foam or rubber with a hole punch tool.

Printing Tips

For full scenario coverage of Star Wars: Battle of Hoth, I recommend printing 12 of the lower and 12 of the higher (or even higher variant) pieces.

Print setting: 10% infill, no brim

Supports: No

Nice to have: Use outer fuzzy skin for a more natural look!
