U.S.S. Iowa with rotating turrets

A fully print-in-place version of the World of Warships Iowa model with rotating turrets.

I've removed all the tiny details, enlarged the gun barrels, made some surfaces thicker and so on so it's possible to print it in one piece.

The turrets are inspired by the classic boat with rotating turrets, albeit with actual iowa turrets and a more compact mounting system.

By default it's 20cm long and that's probably the smallest scale it can work at because of the turrets. For those with smaller print volumes you'll likely have to cut it in half and glue it together afterwards.

NOTE:

The turrets are attached to the hull by a few mm thick pole at the bottom so they need to be twisted with some force to come loose after print. The barrels are rather fragile at this scale so be careful.

The entire print takes a few hours to complete so make sure to print the "turret_only" version first which contains only a standalone turret - and adjust your print settings so it prints satisfactorily before going for the entire thing.

Enable ironing for best results.
