Stick-on play kitchen: Sink

Simple “stick-on” play sink. Simply add to any table surface, loose plank, place-mat, cutting board etc. with double-sided tape. Easy way to furnish a DIY play kitchen, or to create a full play kitchen experience that can neatly be stored away when not in use, or even taken on the go. For example stick it on a ~30x35cm plank and it fits nicely down into an IKEA Kallax drawer alongside all the plates, pots and utensils. 

The faucet is non-permanently attached and can easily be removed when put away.

Printing:

Everything is printable without support, except a tiny bit under the tabs on pegs for the knobs(the installed knob will hide all blemishes from the support). 

I strongly recommend PETG for the sink or knob mounts and using the "TighterTolerance" versions. If you are attempting to print the pegs for the knobs in PLA, I recommend the regular version with 100% infill and/or 3-4 perimeters. The PLA tabs will likely permanently bend a bit(and might break off entirely) when assembling, so there will be more slop in the indexing of the knob afterwards. 

I recommend you print a knob and the stand-alone knob mount first to test your fit/tolerances and material.

Recommended: I have added a sink version without the pegs, but spots for glueing/double-side tape in the stand-alone knob mounts. That allows printing the sink and knob mounts separately, and fitting in the knobs and mounts after pressing them together. That way potentially breaking a tab wont ruin the entire sink part, and you wont have to reprint the entire sink part if you don't get the tolerances quite right.

Assembly: 

I recommend putting a small drop of a non-toxic grease inside the knob before assembly. Especially PLA against PLA will have a lot of friction.

The knobs are designed to permanently fit on to prevent the exposure of any small or sharp bits. So make sure you are properly prepared before pressing them on.

The faucet and the sink each have an optional slot for glueing in 6x3mm magnets to help the faucet staying on during play. PLEASE be VERY careful to firmly glue the magnets in if you go this route. Magnets can be very dangerous if swallowed!
