Description

The base is designed around the specific Bentley GT3 that won the Bathurst 12 Hours race in 2020.

The display base is separated into 2 parts for easy printing and colour swap. The parts are:

1) Base

• BaseV3.STL

2) Base back wall:

• BoxBackAssem.STL

3)Flat Base

• FlatBase.STL
• FlatBase (SmallFont).STL

Print Settings

Nozzle size = 0.4 mm (minimum, smaller better)
Layer height = 0.2 mm

Filament change layer for colours on "FlatBase":
1) Start (Kangaroo sign background colour, mine is in yellow)
2) Layer 11 (Kangaroo colour and all letterings colour, mine is in black)
3) Layer 16 (Main base colour, mine is in light green)

"FlatBase (SmallFont)" is best to be print with the smallest nozzle possible, I tried it with a 0.3mm nozzle and it don't look good either.

Filament change layer for colours on "FlatBase (Small Font)":
1) Start (Start line and arrow colour)
2) Layer 6 (Kangaroo sign background colour)
3) Layer 11 (Kangaroo colour and all letterings colour)
4) Layer 16 (Main base colour)

Filament change layer for colours on "BoxBackAssem":
1) Start (Right side of the wall colour, mine is in grey)
2) Layer 6 ("Continential", "GT" and pattern colour, mine is in dark green)
3) Layer 11 ("3" colour, mine is in light green)
4) Layer 16 (Left side of the wall colour, mine is in white)
5) Layer 21 (Bathurst logo kangaroo and "Winner 2020" lettering colour, mine is in black)
6) Layer 26 ("Bathurst 12 Hours" lettering, Liqui background and circle pattern colour, mine is blue)
7) Layer 21 (Moly background and circle pattern colour, mine is in red)
8) Layer 36 ("LIQUI MOLY" lettering colour, mine is in white)

Assembly

The car is tied by wires through the hole in the base

Back plate should slide in nicely into the display base, the flat plate should fit into the base nicely too. The flat base will need to be glued or have double sided to keep it from falling off the base.
