Nerf N Series Spring Cannon

Introducing the Nerf N Series Spring Cannon!

This cannon is sure to blow your friends and family away with its power and stability.

PARTS

1. Nerf N Series bullet(s)
2. strong glue (holds dart in place)
3. A long spring (I used a clear 270mm by 8mm spring) This gives the dart its power
4. The printed cannon itself
5. The dart holder. This piece functions as a hard bottom so the dart does not break under the pressure.

ASSEMBLY

1. Start by glueing the dart holder to the nerf dart, I recommend supple glue (I used gorilla). You can either cut off or keep the little bottom foam piece on the dart. I would recommend cutting it off, so the spring fits into the gap.
2. After printing the cannon plop your spring in and you're ready to play!

SETTINGS

I printed the cannon and holder with 20% infill, and no supports, it's stood up to rigorous play and holds firm.

To shoot put the dart on top of the spring then using your fingers push the bullet down as far as you wish and let go! 

RUBBERBAND VERSION

This cannon has little holes at the top and no bottom. you can tie a rubber band through the hole. In addition, the shaft is wider, and the side supports are thinner. this allows for less friction and an easier drawback.
