Description

Toy toaster oven that doubles as a toy box when it is time to put the play kitchen toys away.

EDIT: Fixed missing fillet on front. Ignore it on the images.

Printing:

Everything is printable without support, except a little bit under the tabs on the mounts and under the handles on the Oven_body. If you use regular support down onto the oven body below, it should punch out and clean up easily. The front prints in place without support.

I strongly recommend PETG for the knob mounts and using the "TighterTolerance" versions. If you are attempting to print the pegs for the knobs in PLA, I recommend the regular version with 100% infill and/or 3-4 perimeters. The PLA tabs will likely permanently bend a bit(and might break off entirely) when assembling, so there will be more slop in the indexing of the knob afterwards.

*Disclaimer: I have not test printed anything other than the knobs. So I would love some critique and feedback on the fit and tolerances!

Assembly:

I recommend putting a small drop of a non-toxic grease inside the knob before assembly. Especially PLA against PLA will have a lot of friction.

The knobs are designed to permanently fit on to prevent the exposure of any small or sharp bits. So make sure you are ready before pressing them on.

Press the knobs unto the mounts first and glue/double-sided tape them onto the oven front if you are satisfied with them.

Push the front on between the handles and affix it by glueing in 4 pieces of 3mm dowel/M3 thread/included printable pins through the holes on the side of the handles. Or drive in 4 small self-tapping screws.

I recommend adding 4 stick-on rubber feet on the oven body so it doesn't slide around during play.
