Pre-Printing Notes
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The files used to print this figure are divided into folders for PLA (filament) or SLA (Resin)
printing. The PLA version uses pop together joints while the SLA version uses special glue-in
neck sheath part, so don't mix and match between the two.
There are several optional extras, including hexagonal background walls and the Dominators'
atomic drill. The SLA versions comes with two alternate heads, one with tubes and one without.
The eye tubes are too small to print properly on a filament printer, so they will likely come
out looking blobby or like little sticks. If you are printing out of PLA, I recommend paying
a little bit more for buying PLA+ which will give you better surface detail and less noticeable
layer lines.
For maximum authenticity, print the body out of grey resin/filament and the head and drill
segments clear.
If you have the option, I highly recommend printing the head out of clear SLA resin,
preferably 3D Materials Superflex if you can get it, because the pyramid tips are *INCREDIBLY*
sharp but also fragile. Flexible clear resin will make the tips slightly bendy so they won't
break or impale you during play.

Assembly & Post-Printing Notes
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PLA Parts are designed for snap together assembly and require removal of frame structure with an
xacto blade. For maximum structural integrity I recommend printing the head and limbs at 100% fill.
The SLA version require the following off-the shelf parts for assembly:
One 1.5mm wide brass craft rod to be trimmed to length for arm and hip joints.
These craft rods can be found online or in most craft stores that have a model airplane section.
Alternatively you can use a wire coat hanger, small nail, rigid wire, or even a toothpick.
Before you paint and assemble it is recommended that you fit all parts together without glue
to make sure all points of articulation fit together and move freely. You may need to sand
down some parts or drill out holes if pieces do not move smoothly.
Please see https://www.3Dprintingdoctorwho.com/002.html for detailed paint and assembly instructions.
