Description

Run out of mag pouches but still need to carry more mags? The Talus provides two quick access mags held securely on the sides of the blaster. Designed for right hand users, the asymmetrical mag releases allow for intuitive thumb pulls of the mags with the left hand on both sides to insert into the magwell of the XLS without any contorting. Will fit multiple short dart mag types, including Talons, X Shot, and Adventure Force/Katana (requires a cut in the mag to use the talon mag catch location).

Hardware Requirements:
4x 1/8"x1" round pins

Build Instructions:

For best results and the least post processing for fitting, print with a horizontal offset of -0.1mm. The fit will be tight against the rail for minimal wobbling while on the blaster. Due to tolerances between the shell halves, the rail surface and rail pin may require some sanding to fit.

Insert the mag release into the slot until the hole lines up with the rearmost hole, then put a pin through it. Then insert the front pin which acts as an overtravel stop for the mag release. Cover the pin holes with some tape to secure it in place, or burr the ends of the pin prior to insertion. Gluing the pins in place is not recommended as the mag release spring may wear out over time and need replacing. Once assembled, slide the holder onto the rail system and pin in place with the rail pin.
