Duplo wood train base

Design Concept

The design bridges between classic wood train tracks and modernized Duplo-style brick attachments, offering a creative new play option for children.

Purpose

This model serves as a compatible base connecting wooden train tracks with Lego Duplo parts, allowing players to build customized trains swiftly.

Printing Suggestions

Use PLA or ABS plastic to ensure durability. Printing with a 0.2mm layer height will ensure smoother finishes and improved part compatibility.

Assembly Instructions

1. Thread the wheels through the short and long axes and weld the axles together. Two axes have larger wheels, one axe has smaller wheels. Ensure wheels rotate freely.

2. Glue a cylindrical magnet with a diameter of 10 mm and a height of 5 mm into the coupler (a hollow cylinder with a ball at the end).

3. Insert the assembled axes (with wheels) and coupler into the upper pin section and snap the bottom section onto the assembly. It should hold firmly. Check connections with train track and Duplo bricks for a firm fit.
