Description
This is a project I made to play with my kids back in 2016, when my first 3d printer was purchased. It was one of my first designs. The idea is to print silhouettes, from various shapes, with a place to put a stick. Then, with a flashlight, the shapes will cast shadows on the wall and we'll have a nice shadow theater. The sets will be made with generic shapes and any story is possible to be told. This is a collection of my original sets:
- The first one is a set of dinosaurs, for my eldest son is fascinated by them
- The second set is to tell fairy tales. There is the witch, the fairy, the princess, the dragon, the knight, and even the castle...
- The other two are sets with wild and farm animals
The models have a 3mm holder to put the stick.
They were initially designed to be not larger than 6cm, but some shapes would not fit well if they were this size. So some of them will be over 6cm in one dimension. All of them are 1mm thick. No support required. Any material/color should be good.
Hope you enjoy :)
