EVE: War for New Eden – Asteroid Tokens

Asteroid tokens for the EVE: War for New Eden board game. Speed up the game.

You can print these upgraded 3D tokens in any colors you want, increasing legibility compared to the original tokens, which can be find hard to differentiate, especially in imperfect lighting.

How to use

Keep the original tokens in the bag for drawing, while keeping printed tokens next to the game board. When you draw a token, place the corresponding printed token on the tile, while putting the cardboard token in it's place next to the game board. When you claim a system with an asteroid belt, take the cardboard token and put it in front of you.

It speeds up Upkeep, by making it unnecessary to count asteroid belts in your claimed systems. Instead, all your claimed asteroid belts are already in front of you, as the cardboard tokens which you take when you claim one.

It also forms a tracker next to the game board showing you what types of asteroids remain in the bag, helping newer players and making it unnecessary to count the placed tokens on the board and know the totals to have an idea what you can still be drawn.
