Description
UPDATE 30th Dec 2025: Added 'loose' versions of muzzle and rollers with more clearance for the filament. If you have trouble getting the filament in or if the rollers don't roll freely print the loose versions.
This is a short and low profile muzzle attachment designed for the X Shot Fury X that intends to improve it's accuracy. Set up for the stock 150ish fps muzzle velocity
There is no hardware required. Just print the muzzle and 6 rollers. The rollers are mounted with standard 1.75mm 3D printer filament.
The attachment just friction fits into the front of the blaster.
Instructions:
- Print 1x Muzzle piece and 6x Rollers
- Take a piece of your 1.75mm filament of choice and thread the rollers onto it. Make sure all rollers can spin freely without much friction. If the rollers don't fit onto the filament or don't spin freely you can widen the hole with a round file. Sometimes just spinning the rollers a couple of times to break them in also works.
- Insert a foam dart into the muzzle piece
- Drop a roller into a slot from the outside and secure it by sliding filament into the side hole. The filament may stick out on both sides, the excess can be trimmed of afterwards. Repeat for the other rollers.
Some stats:
-Cant: 10°
-Inner roller crush: 12mm
-Inner bore ⌀: 14.5mm
-Roller ⌀: 6.9mm
