Description
After messing about a bit with one of the other V-Buck models uploaded here I decided that making a double sided coin by simply pasting 2 together in Prusaslicer just wasn't cutting it.
So, off to Fusion I went to recreate the thing from scratch. When I asked my son what to put on the other side (since a V on both sides is just boring) he immediately said “A Llama off course!”. So after a quick-course “how to draw from an image in F360” here we are now.
The surface of the coin is flattened a bit when compared to the image on the site. This is for bed adhesion on the bottom side, and on the top keep both sides symmetric.
Printed on a 5-tool X5 in PLA with PETG supports. (This started out as a simple multi-material test and escalated a bit)
Used colors are: White, Marble (lacking a “light grey”-ish color), Silver and Light Blue.
It's one big part. Painting was done in Prusaslicer.
A small brim was added because I had some issues with the outer rim near the blue edges lifting up. I assum this was because my bed temp was slightly higher then normal with PLA, for the PETG supports. It's easy to remove though. Before or after printing ;)
