Description
I have been playing with alternatives to normal poker chip racks. The normal poker chip for almost all casinos and home games is 39mm diameter.
These racks fit six stacks of 30 chips for 180 per rack. However, they sit upright rather than flat so they can be stored in different shaped spaces from normal flat racks. They fit nicely on shelving and hold a lot of chips.
I also built an insert to fit five of these racks into a Pelican 1400 case for 900 chips. I can put this in my luggage for remote games for up to 20 players. There is also room for dealer buttons. This is also compatible with the Harbor Freight Apache 2800 case.
The trays are useful even without doing the Pelican case option.
No support is needed. The insert is divided into two pieces so it can fit on most printers. They fit on the bottom of the Pelican 1400 case and have chips on top of them so likely aren't going anywhere. If you like you can put thin double sided tape on the bottom to hold them in place.
Happy printing and playing.
