Description

Wake up this upcoming Christmas morning to the Pop-Up Santa Box!

This box opens by slowly lifting the gold bell handles. As the happiest Santa in the world appears, everyone will wonder what special present could be hiding inside with him. This box was inspired by that old expression: “good things come in small packages." Could it be jewelry, maybe a ring, a necklace or earrings?

If this design gets you into the festive spirit, check out my other social media pages to view my other 3D sculpts and prints. Any donations through Ko-Fi would also be of great help and appreciation.

If there is a problem with the model, please let me know. Constructive feedback is always welcome.

NOTES

  • Glue is required.

  • The base that Santa is placed on SHOULD NOT be glued onto the inner platform. The top half of the model (Santa and top lid with ribbon bow) is meant to be placed down onto the platform and pegs after assembly.

  • Recommend printing all Santa and top lid parts with as little infill as possible (less than 5%) and use lightning infill pattern to reduce weight.

  • Gluing the paddle pegs into the inner platform is optional, but it is necessary to glue the paddles into the bell handles for stability in lifting the inner platform.

FDM settings:

Print Temp: 200 - 205 C
Bed Temp: 60 C
Layer height: 0.20 mm
Infill: 3 - 5% (lightning infill pattern)
Supports: recommended

Filament (all PLA):

Esun: Cold White, Peak Green, (Silk) Dark Yellow,
Creality: Red, Black
