Description
This is a 3D printable scale model of VW T1, designed for easy 3D Printing and Assembly. Inspired by the iconic van, the model tries to captures the timeless shape and character of the original while keeping the design print-friendly and beginner approachable. The model is ideal for desk display, shelf decoration, or as a base for custom paint jobs and modifications.
Print the parts as per the list. Use recommended colors for best results.

Position the parts in slicing software with orientations shown in the following images. Correct orientation is important for printing without additional support.
Mirror Rear View Mirror_LH is to be mirrored for Rear View Mirror_RH, so mirror it in slicer software before slicing.

The model is designed for printing with a 0.4 mm nozzle and requires no additional support. Use the printer-specific settings for the best quality prints.
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Infill: 10–20% is sufficient
Supports: Not required. Orient the parts as shown in the images above.
Material: PLA recommended.
Bed Adhesion: Brim for Hood and Roof.
The prints may require finishing before starting assembly. The process involves removing the in-built supports, stringing if present, and smoothing the rugged edges. Also the slots have tight clearance and may require to enlarge for smooth fit. You may require the following tools as per preference and availability:
Cutter or Knife
Sandpaper
Small Files
Adhesive (Instant Glue)
Watch the following video instructions for assembling the model. Check for tolerances before assembly. Use the appropriate tool for sizing the joint members. The press-fitting of some parts may require force. Use pliers or a vice for fitting, if necessary. Use adhesive for a firm joint. Take necessary caution while assembling.
