TCG Deck Box : Magic The Gathering : Fallout Theme

Hello! Thanks for checking out my first published model! This is my first time working on a model/print like this so please feel free to comment with questions, suggestions and requests!

Features :

Card Insert :

• Capacity : 100+ Double Sleeved Cards [68mm (W) x 78mm (L) x 91mm (D)]

• Perfect for keeping your deck neat, secure, and accessible while playing

• 5° Tilt, helps keep cards inside while drawing

Token Insert :

• Fits x20 6-sided die + x12 Double Sleeved Token Cards

• Accommodates standard D20 die (22mm)

Logo Insert :

• Optional 'Repconn Aerospace' logo insert (glue in) (more logo options coming soon (??))

• Or make your own! (template coming soon)

Requirements [v200]:

• x2    ~30mm lengths of raw filament (for hinge pins)

• x22   8 x 2mm magnets** (optional)

**magnets are embedded and will require you to add pauses to the appropriate layers to insert the magnets into the prints. Individual magnet needs per part are listed with each stl file.

Print Setting Recommendations (0.4mm nozzle):

Deck Box/Lid:

• Orientation: As is  |  Flipping the lid should have less potential for warping at the cost of surface finish quality

• Layer Height: 0.2mm

• Infill: 15+%, Adaptive Cubic

• Walls: 3, Inner/Outer

• Supports: On, build plate only (or supports will fill magnet cavities), adjust threshold angle if needed (35°-40° recommended)

Card & Counter Inserts:

• Orientation: As is

• Layer Height: 0.2mm

• Infill: 15+%, Adaptive Cubic

• Walls: 3, Inner/Outer

Logo Insert:

• Orientation: As is

• Layer Height: 0.12mm or smaller

• Layer Width: 0.2mm or smaller

• *Let build plate cool before removing print to prevent warping

*I have printed this version and can verify its functionality and quality. (see pics in gallery and makes)

Update - 2/8/26 - v200

*I am currently printing this version and will update when it has finished and been tested!

• Logo Insert: Adjusted clearances with Deck Box. Adjusted logo for legibility during printing.

• Styling: Made final adjustments to all components.

Update - 2/6/26 - v195

*I have not yet printed this version myself to verify improvements or check for errors.

• Magnet Size: Increased magnet size to 8x2mm from 6x2mm.

• Hinge/Lid: Moved hinge upwards to be level with bottom face of lid. Increased clearances. Added a built in lid stop.

• Card & Counter Insert: Increased clearances with Deck Box

• Logo Insert: No edits made, yet.

• Styling: Adjusted styling elements to be more pronounced and rounded, to better mimic sheet metal fabrication.

Update - 2/2/26 - v174

*I have printed this version and can confirm its functionality, but cannot guarantee quality, however I am currently using my box and it is working just fine with a few changes needed.

• Magnet Size: This is my first print using magnets, v174 uses 6x2mm magnets, which after my initial print appear to be too weak for the effect I desired, the inserts and lid "clicking" into place. The box functions, but definitely needs an increase in magnet size.

• Hinge/Lid: The hinge needs some geometry tweaks to its exterior to aid in printing. v174 calls for the lid to be printed floating on top of a support raft, sacrificing quality of the bottom face of the lid and lid interior for a better surface finish on the massive exterior fillet corners of the lid.

• Logo Insert: Tweaking fitment and printability of the Logo Insert.

• Styling: Making final adjustments to overall design elements
