Description
The Foundation of Precision. Calibrix Core is a high-performance, parametric OpenSCAD engine designed to generate any standard building block—from a tiny 1x1 plate to a massive 38-stud diagonal beam. Built with the same "Perfect Snap" geometry as the Heart-Gen series, this tool gives you total control over the "Danish" grid.
Bricks & Plates: Toggle between full-height blocks or thin plates using sliders to dial in your custom sizes.
Smooth Tiles: Use the Add_Studs toggle to instantly convert any brick into a sleek decorative tile.
Custom Text Inlays: Add embossed or engraved text to any side of the block. Perfect for personalized nameplates, labels, or gift sets.
Massive Scale: Engineered to support lengths up to 48 studs (perfect for maximizing your Prusa MK3S diagonal build space).
Calibrate: Use the Calibrix Calibration Tools (on my profile) to find your filament’s ideal tolerances.
Input: Enter your Stud Radius and Internal Hole Radius for a snap-fit that feels like the real thing.
Customize: Adjust wall thickness, clearance, and text depth directly in the provided OpenSCAD file.
The "Grip" Factor: For a classic fit, we recommend a 0.6mm Wall_Thickness (Roof).
Proper Calibration: Make sure you create both the stud calibration tool and the antistud calibration tool using the filament and printer you intend to user for best fit.
I have flagged this project for "AI Use" to be transparent about my process. I utilize an AI coding assistant to help develop and optimize the complex OpenSCAD logic behind the Calibrix ecosystem.
The Partnership:
AI is an incredible tool for productivity and mathematical accuracy, especially in a project like this that relies on precise geometry and 0.01 mm tolerances. I act as the Mastermind and Director—providing the vision, the structural design, and conducting extensive physical testing on my Bambu A1 and Prusa MK3S. The AI serves as the Mathematician and Lead Builder, crunching the numbers and structuring the code under my direct oversight and modification.
I believe this partnership allows for the creation of unique, high-performance models that push the boundaries of what we can accomplish individually.
