Description
Hi. Lego really needs to step up their game about wheels. On the FXX K those really are weakest part.
So I created a real life version in the form of an add-on rim. It mounts to the original wheel - on deeper side. Unfortunately, wheels then stick out too much. The solution is: on front axle, change the long bushing under wheels to short. On the rear axle it is more complicated - we need to get rid of the double snap w/ hole 46189 on both sides, use 2 89678 half connectors on both sides (4 total) and then use technic liftarm 3x1, BUT THIN which is nonexistent as genuine lego part afaik. So I searched and found this https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-3x1-lego-technic-thin-liftarm-80988 , but it was still too thick, so finally I printed it at only 1,3mm thin, AND at 97 percent scale. Still, wheels are not flush with body, but I think it looks so much better than stock.
