Description
These models are still in testing! Will they work? Yes! Will they work the best? No.
I just haven't gotten around to setting up a nice railway yet T-T
I liked ph_neutral's skeleton tracks, but found them difficult to print. Thus, I made my own! This is a pretty simple assortment of one-sided skeleton tracks, designed to use the bare minimum of filament without compromising easy printability.
Please note that these still may be difficult to print! The male connectors in particular have rather small footprints, but it should still be possible! Keep your bed clean & enable brims if needed!
If you have a bed-slinging Y-axis, place the tracks female end front (So the Y-axis travels more - It helps prevent warping!)
Some mirroring in your slicer may be needed to get the tracks you want, and all tracks should match Brio Tracks!
These tracks feature compliant mechanisms on the joints, for better compatibility with the various brands of wooden trains! From my testing, these comfortably fit with Learning Curve (Thomas 1992-2012) tracks. Should also fit the various other 3D-printable wooden train tracks comfortably!
174.78*94.56*12 X*Y*Z
Want to mess directly with a copy of the Tinkercad file? Here you go!
That's all I really have to say, just a simple assortment of tracks. Feel free to modify as you wish and happy printing!
