3D Printable Balancing & Stacking Game V2

Version 2 of the Balance Game, featuring:

• a solid base with solid pieces

• a lightweight base with hollow pieces

• a custom die used to select the type of piece to play

All parts are designed for FDM printing with no supports required.

Description

This is Version 2 of the Balance Game, inspired by the my other model and expanded with new features to improve gameplay and printing flexibility.

The project includes three main components.

1. Solid Base + Solid Pieces

• Heavy and stable

• More “premium” feel

• Ideal for kids or frequent use thanks to increased durability

2. Lightweight Base + Hollow Pieces

• Reduced material usage

• Faster printing

• Technical, modern look with perforated or hollow geometry

• Fully compatible with the original gameplay

3. Custom Dice (Piece Selector)

• A 4‑sided die (tetrahedron)

• Each face corresponds to a type of piece

• The die does not indicate colors

Suggested rules:

• Roll the die and place the piece type shown

• If that piece type is unavailable, skip the turn

• If your move causes the structure to fall, you lose

Print Settings

No supports are required for any part of the model.

Solid Base

• Infill: 20–25%

• Layer height: 0.2 mm

• Material: PLA or PETG

Lightweight Base

• Infill: 10–15%

• Layer height: 0.2 mm

• Material: PLA

Solid Pieces

• Infill: 15–20%

• Layer height: 0.2 mm

• Material: PLA

Hollow Pieces

• Infill: 10–15%

• Layer height: 0.2 mm

• Material: PLA

Dice

• Infill: 100%

• Layer height: 0.16–0.2 mm

• Material: PLA
