Description
My kids are huge fans of BattleBots and inspired me to create a set of toys that they can be a bit rough with without fear of breaking the more expensive Hexbug toys. This Bite Force project is one of my first complicated 3d models. It's not perfect but I think its worth sharing.
All “pins” are sections of 1.75 standard filament snipped to length. Parts held together with super glue where appropriate.
I was pretty generous with clearances for the pin holes in any place where it needs to freely spin, but if the wheels or weapon refuse to spin, just hand twist a drill bit through through the opening to open it up.
STL only has 1 wheel and 1 front wedge, print 4 of each.
The “Inner” piece that wraps around the weapon, shown in black on my cover photo, will need support on the back side. Nothing else should require any supports.
