Description

A replacement chassis body for 1:64 scale Monster Jam trucks. This part was modeled based on the original body but it's not an exact 1:1 clone. Some small differences occur compared to the original, but it is "close enough" for a direct fit and functional use.

Printing Notes

You can print this in several ways depending on your priorities: Upside Down is best if you want a clean bottom finish, while a 45-Degree Angle offers a great middle-ground for balancing structural strength and surface finish. I usually print it exactly as oriented in the STL file.

Whatever orientation you choose, Organic (Tree) supports work best for easy removal and a cleaner finish. If the supports are too difficult to remove, try adjusting your support settings, such as increasing the Top Contact Z Distance.

If you want maximum strength, you can increase the number of perimeters (walls) and use a higher infill percentage. This makes the chassis stronger and more durable for heavy play.

I have tested the model with 0.15–0.25 mm layer height, and they all work well.

Tip

If you have a broken Monster Jam truck body, you can reuse the axle and wheels. Hold the wheels on both sides and pull them apart firmly while twisting the wheels back and forth.

Installing the New Body

  1. Start from the front end. Make sure the “nose” of the chassis slides into the slot at the front of the frame.

  2. After the front is in place, press the rear of the chassis upward until it snaps into position. Note that the rear will not fit correctly unless the nose is properly inserted into the front slot of the frame first.
