3 dimensional 4x4x4 tic tac toe - Multi-Player

Here is a fun 4x4x4 tic tac toe game, but it incorporates the game on new levels.

Items to print (1) base for playing piece storage (1) base cover for playing piece storage (4) tic tac toe levels (16) layer connecting rods

(32) playing pieces for each unique player 128 in total with 4 colors - this allows a 1v1 game of any color to fill the board

For assembly, the pins are friction fit into the holes with a little gentle encouragement from a small mallet. Make sure that mallet strikes are light and square to the top surface so the pins go straight in (angled taps might break the print). I lay the pins flat to print so that the layer lines are not at a shear point.

Gently tap the connecting rods into the top of the box. Orientate the playing levels just like a table, then tap connecting rods into the tops of 3 of the 4 playing levels (skip the top level). Then gently tap the levels onto the base one at a time. Go evenly between the corners so that one side doesn't get too far ahead of the others.

I made a slight edit so that the playing pieces are easier to remove from the build plate.

Edit: V2 has larger playing pieces, refined corners, and a bottom storage drawers. The larger base makes for a more stable playing surface. I will keep the original version up for those who like the smaller size.
