Description

From the Minions Fandom Wiki: "The Minions are small, yellow, capsule shaped creatures, predominantly male, who have one or two eyes that were created by Eric Guillon. (...) They bring much of the comedy in the film, and they are known as the stealer of the movie."

My daughter loves the Minions, so I decided to model some of them for her <3 These are my favorite ones! Kevin, Stuart, Dave and Bob are some of the main Minion characters, appearing in more than one movie.

The models were designed on NomadSculpt. Bob is the only one that prints without supports, needing only a brim. The others require some support for hands and glasses. I recommended painted-on, organic supports. Check the project video here.

Printing Advice

These settings are baked in the .3mf files that I have included.

Dave, Stuart, and Kevin:

  • PLA, 15% infill*

  • 0.15mm (structural)

  • Brim enabled

  • Painted-on (organic) supports for hands and glasses

Bob:

  • PLA, 15% infill

  • 0.15mm (structural)

  • Brim enabled

*For Dave and Stuart, it might be a good idea to add a layer height modifier to increase infill in the arms, since they are thin. These are already set in the .3mf files.

Commercial Usage

Members of the Heidi Makes Club in the "Partner" tier are allowed to use this model commercially for physical prints.
