Thule Urban Glide 3 Double Bag Hook

This model is a load-bearing double hook designed for the handlebar of the Thule Urban Glide 3 stroller. The geometry features a custom-profiled, snap-fit upper clamp that matches the cross-section of the stroller's frame. The lower section diverges into two outward-facing J-hooks to accommodate multiple bag straps simultaneously.

The component is optimized to be printed flat on its side. This orientation aligns the layer lines perpendicular to the applied load, significantly increasing the overall tensile strength of the hooks, while also allowing the entire model to be printed without supports. Due to the mechanical requirements of the snap-fit clamp and the constant load of hanging bags, printing with a durable and slightly flexible filament like PETG is highly recommended. Utilizing an increased wall count further maximize the structural integrity and weight capacity of the part. I printed with 6 walls.
