Description
nubnub is a modular fidget device consisting of four discrete sections: tip, body, ferrule, and eraser. Each component utilizes magnetic attraction for assembly and tactile feedback (4x2mm disc magnet and glue required).
Add an infinite number of body segments
Notes
Magnets: 4x2mm (0.16x0.08") n52 neodymium discs are what I used because it's what I had, but the Makerworld CA001 4x2mm magnets should be perfect. (N52s are strong like bull)
You'll also want some CA glue. I'm using Gorilla brand gel glue because it seems like the least residue, but all the glue joints are obscured so it's probably fine to use whatever you want
Quick, 35-minute print with AMS
Non-AMS profile included to print individual segments independently
To make the black graphite tip (which is hard to print since I added the registration points) just use a Sharpie
I recommend a smooth, grippy plate here for the clean texture, but Textured PEI works fine if your build plate is clean
