Description
Give your empty Prusament spools a second life!
This project presents a simple yet effective sand sifter made by repurposing one side of the new style Prusament spool (the one with the hexagon pattern). By adding just two printed parts, you can turn trash into a fun beach or sandbox toy.
Design Features:
Inner Part: Designed with a light press-fit. It stays securely in place during play but can be removed if needed.
Outer Ring: Features a tight press-fit designed to stay on permanently, locking the assembly together.
Eco-Friendly: Reduces waste by utilizing the existing structure of the filament spool.
Assembly: Simply press the inner part into the center of the spool side, and snap the outer ring over the edge. No glue is required!
Material: PETG or ASA (recommended for outdoor use and UV resistance), but PLA will work fine for normal sandbox play. (I printed with PLA)
Layer Height: 0.2mm - 0.28mm (speed is more important than detail here).
Infill: 15-20% (Grid or Gyroid).
Wall Loops: 3 (for better durability when shaking sand).
Supports: No supports needed – the parts are designed to print flat on the bed.
POLISH DESCRIPTION
przedstawiam proste sitko do piasku stworzone przez dodanie dwóch elementów do
jednego bocznego płaskiego elementu nowej szpuli prusamentu.
wewnętrzna część wchodzi lekko na wcisk, ale nie wypada przy zabawie, natomiast zewnętrzna część wchodzi na wcisk i pozostaje już permanentnie.
Elementy można wydrukować bez podpór, prosty i łatwy wydruk.
Można drukować sitko za darmo, ale jak ktoś znajdzie złoto za tego sitka pomocą, biorę 1% od zysków :D
